Large Holiday Cottages North Wales: A Big Self Catering House near Caernarfon in Snowdonia

The flexible accommodation provided at Capel Tanrallt makes it a great base for small groups, large families and reunions to be together in lovely North Wales. Based in a converted Welsh Chapel, spread across three floors,  Capel Tanrallt offers comfortable accommodation in six bedrooms.

Interior
When used for families and smaller groups, up to 14, the beds are a mix of singles, bunks and doubles. On the ground floor are four comfortable bedrooms with drawers and hanging rails. Also on the ground floor are five well appointed shower rooms each with toilet and hand basin.  A large drying and laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is also located on this floor.

On the first floor are two further bedrooms, a large, well equipped fitted kitchen, including two oven range cookers with a spacious adjoining dining room and a table tennis room.
A large lounge, comfortably furnished with many sofas, colour TV with Freeview, DVD, video, radio/CD player, pool table and table football is on the second floor.
Electric heating throughout.

Weekly bookings during Peak and High Seasons, Weekend and short breaks available during Mid and Low seasons Minimum stay 2 Nights.

Outside
Parking is available for up to five cars or up to two mini buses. There is a sheltered picnic bench area with BBQ and access to fields for playing games etc.

Coasteering is a combination of adventure swimming that takes place along the base of sea cliffs; Canoeing: Gorge Scrambling - Seeing some of Snowdonia’s most beautiful waterfalls, rivers and pools from the most absurd angles;  Climbing; abseiling and caving.

Nearby attractions include Snowdonia National Park, Caernarvon, Criccieth, The Lleyn peninsula and Porthmadog.

Snowdonia

The magnificent coastline is home to numerous blue flag beaches to suite all tastes. If you're looking to spend the day on the beach or just a stroll the ideal beach is only a short distance away. Along the Cardigan Bay you have Aberdyfi, Barmouth, Tywyn, Harlech and all around the Llyn you have beaches along the coast from Pwllheli to Aberdaron and Nefyn.

Mt Snowdon
Mountains of the Snowdon group lie within a triangle of roads linking Caernarfon, Pen y Gwryd and Beddgelert. Regular bus routes from Caernarfon extend only as far as Nant Peris and Beddgelert. However, in summer the Sherpa bus service com­pletes the circuit around the mountain by linking Beddgelert and Nant Peris via Pen y Gwryd. This service is extremely useful, even to car owners, because it facilitates unusual combinations of ascent and descent routes.
