The cottage offers comfortable cosy holiday accommodation ideal for both summer holidays relaxing on the beach or in the garden enjoying alfresco eating on the terrace and for winter breaks snuggled up in front of the fire.
Middle Cottage offers a ground floor lounge, dining room, kitchen and bathroom with 2 first floor bedrooms. The dining room has seating for 6 at the pine table, a country style dresser adorned with Denby crockery, a rocking chair, CD player/DAB radio and bookshelves. The cosy character lounge with exposed beams features a stone fireplace containing a multi-fuel log burner with a supply of free logs. Gathered around the fireplace leather sofas seat 6 with a clear view of the Phillips 36" widescreen CRT TV with DVD player and Sky channels for history, movies and sports. Bookshelves provide various books and games, and some decent DVDs to enjoy (such as Fawlty Towers, Poirot, Morse, Agatha Christie, Casino, Shrek, Escape to Victory, Polar Express and all Harry Potter films). The kitchen has a washer/dryer, with additional dryer in the garage, ceramic hob, toaster, kettle, eye level oven grill, cast iron le Creuset pots and pans and a full height frost free fridge/freezer. Upstairs are the two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 contains a king size bed, while bedroom 2 has both a double and a single bed. All the beds are top quality oiled pine, with pocket sprung quality mattresses (all new in Aug 07) with bed linen and towels provided. |

Middle Cottage is only a short walk to the beach, local inn and village shop. It is also on a bus route for those who want to use public transport to explore the area. The Gower Peninsular is a renowned Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a marvellous unspoilt coastline and lovely beaches. Walkers will be delighted that the cottage is situated on the edge of some of Gower's best walks. Its central village location makes it close to Cwm Ivy National Trust walks/woods and three nature reserves. There are also many other lovely beaches within a 10-15 minute drive such as Port Eynon, Horton, Oxwich Bay or Llangennith which is excellent for surfing. |
