Hafod Grove House is a gracious period gentleman's residence in a tranquil setting within an acre of private garden. The generous accommodation in this self catering house is ideal for large gatherings of friends and family. Sleeping 12 over two floors the house enjoys sea views from the front bedrooms and garden and includes a ground floor bedroom suite with shower room opposite. Just 10mins drive from two wide sandy beaches with caves and rock pools to explore. Walk to The World Famous Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at Ceibwr Bay with it's stunning rock formations and frequent sitings of seals, dolphins, basking sharks and more. rarely whales and turtles.
The large farmhouse kitchen has an Aga and a gas cooker, is well equipped with dishwasher etc. and a table seating 12 people, 18 with the addition of extra table. The two reception rooms are both double aspect, with open fire and one with French doors leading to a delightful sun trap patio for relaxing or alfresco dining and barbeques. The ground floor double bedroom suite has a shower room opposite suitable for the elderly or semi-ambient.
The spacious arched hall leads up to the first floor where the master bedroom has a luxury en-suite including a double-ended, antique bath, power shower, wash basin and WC. The king size bedroom has a 6 foot Victorian bath, power shower, etc. Both the two twin bedded rooms have a charming outlook over the garden. At the top of the servants stairs (bring your Butler) is a cute children’s back bedroom overlooking woodland.
Cots and highchairs are available on request.
Outside
The house stands in over an acre of lovely, private gardens with sea views, children’s swings, barbeque/patio area etc. and private parking.
Hafod Villa is the garden cottage to Hafod Grove House and occupies a secluded setting well back from a quiet lane in the grounds of the house. It is very safe for children and dogs with up to three dogs welcome free of charge. Combining it with Hafod Grove House increases the accommodation to 18.
This lovely, sunny cottage sleeps 6 in three bedrooms - a twin bedded downstairs bedroom and upstairs double and twin bedrooms. With a sunny conservatory, a bright spacious open plan kitchen/dining room, cosy sitting room with log burner and a family bathroom it is comfy and homely.
The huge, sunny garden - mainly lawn – has swings and a barbecue area ideal for a children. The perfect family getaway!

Equidistant from two excellent sandy beaches just 3 miles away at Newport and Poppit Sands with rock pools and caves to explore. The pretty estuary village of Newport is just 5 miles away with it's bars, cafes, galleries and restaurants. The bustling market town of Cardigan is also within 5 miles with all the facilities of a small town with shops, bars, restaurants, supermarket, theatre, cinema and market. There are numerous local sports and activities on offer in the area such as riding, golf, walking, coasteering, kayaking, fishing, swimming etc. Local arts and crafts trails and fairs. Local restaurants and bars to sample and all amidst georgeous National Park scenery. The rare red kite is frequently seen flying above the grounds and the abundance of wildlife - both flora and fauna - makes this location a delight for nature-lovers.
